Ford 6000cd radio serial M080606 I need a radio code for my 1999 ford fiesta ghia which has an RDS5000 unit. The radio has a date of Dec03 so I suspect it has been replaced. The reference/ID is M040476, is this possible.

It is probably on a sticker somewhere on your car- check the trunk lid inside, glove box, under the hood, etc.

The last option is asking the dealer to look it up; they will have access to the info on your car but only if it is the original stereo.

Ford radio code

Try this site, it looks like they charge you for the code, but if you go into a Ford dealer they may give it to you for free (you may need to provide proof of ownership). Make sure the unit does not display LOCK 10 or LOCK 13, as the unit will probably need to be sent away to be cleared. Most dealers don't have the facilities to do this themselves, although they can provide the codes. The site I've linked for you has quite a good description of how to enter the codes.
