Make sure the numbers match. The serial number is etched into the housing of the radio-starts with S/N ###etc. If you are unsure, write down the complete S/N off the radio housing and call a dealer-they will not charge to look up a radio code-it only takes a minute. If they give you a different number, then your head unit has been replaced at some point and your current card is no good. If they give you the same number, then try one more time and press seek when done. If it still does not accept it, then there may be an internal radio problem.

Yes. You will need to take the radio out of the dash-you will need a set of radio keys for this-should be able to buy them at a local parts store. Pull the radio head unit out and look for S/N etched into the housing of it.

Radio code 1997 s320 merz

Call your local dealer with your VIN handy. They can give you the code if the original radio is still in the car. If that doesn't work the radio needs to be removed. The serial number can then be used to compute to code, which is NOT the last four digits of the serial number.

Mercedes radio removal

If it's an OEM radio Mercedes should have the code.. If it was replaced see if you can find the dealer that did the maintenance. It If you have the VIN# IT SHOULD LET THEM COME UP WITH THE SERIAL # AND HENCE THE CODE NUMBER.

Lost Car radio code after removal of battery head model ML320 1998 version. Serial Number Radio -103725 Label Number: MIC 408013 Reference Number: LP 29102 Made Bose

Real easy. Go to the MB dealership, proceed to the parts department give them the VIN of your car(I used my insurance card) ,they type in your VIN, few seconds... they hand you over a post-it w/ your code.

Go to your car punch in the code and make sure you press OK.

Your done ...radio works again.

P.S. I have a 1999 e320

RADIO CODE

go to Mercedes dealer give them your VIN, ask them to look on the VMI for the radio code. If the radio is original, that code will unlock the radio. If it has been replaced or the code does not work you willhave to pull out the radio and give the dealer the serial number to get the correct code.
