When im out driving and need to get across a street quickly i step on the gas and the truck lags just barley reaching 30 - 35 kph. now i dont know if its supposed to do that but its kind of a nusance and a little scary when trying to merge and such.
No its not normal for it to hesitate try a good full tune up(spark plugs, plug wires, air filter, fuel filter, oil change, ect.) that most of the time fix any lag you might have

it was weird but i replaced the belt tensioner and it seems to be doing fine now. im still going to get a once over tho. just to be sure. thanks for the help.
