I need a wiring diagram for a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The stereo was taken from the vehicle, at which point all heat and air controls were pulled out. Since vehicle is going to be used as a rock-crawler, I would like to run heat and air from switches etc.. I need a Wiring Diagram Showing which wires are for the heat and air conditioning.

    FixYa.com claims they have factory repair manuals, they have nothing of the sort, this is not to say some experts may have manuals, we do, but we work from home and in most cases have a small library. Experts are not employed by FixYa.com, we help free of charge as much as we can with the general automotive knowledge we have learned while working as auto technicians, specific test values, repair procedures and illustrations are unique to each car line, these are not in most cases available to us. Thanks for using FixYa!

I need a wiring diagram for the blower motor on a 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited. I have two wires sticking out of the blower motor and I don't know where they go

Usually you have to splice the wires into the old plug.
You might be able to find a diagram on the websites for auto parts stores such as autozone.

Just click on my profile picture below and go to my FixYa profile page. Click the tab that says "Pro Services". When the page opens up, click any of the services listed. (It doesn't really matter which one - they will ALL connect you with me) Sign up for Email support. Be sure to include the Year, Make, Model, Engine Size, and a brief description of what we are trying to fix in your message (just so I don't mix you up with someone else). Youi can also do this by clicking any of my ads that you may see on FixYa.

Be sure to mention WHICH 1999 Cherokee you have...Cherokee Laredo, Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee Limited, etc. I would also need to know if you have MANUAL heating and air conditioning or if your vehicle is equipped with AUTOMATIC climate control.

1999 jeep grand cherokee air blows but not out of vents, also tempurature seems to not work...any ideas

most are controlled by vaccuum lines, check your lines running from your engine thru your firewall, and make sure that you have vacuum at the line where it passes thru, if you dont, you have a line off or burnt in two in the engine compartment, if you have vacuum there, check where it connects into your heater controll underneath the dash, i've had them pull loose when installing stereos or doing other things under the dash,

1995 Grand Jeep Cherokee

The lower speeds are controlled by a resistor block. That's what needs to be replace. It's usually located next to the blower. It will have electrical wires connected to it. High speed bypasses the block so it alway works.
If you want to replace it then;
) Disconnect the battery negative terminal if the vehicle have air bags. Wait 2 minutes for system to discharge.
) Remove the kick block on the passenger side. )Remve the glove box ) Remove the bolts holding the blower motor resistor. Push the red lock up and press down on the click ) Pull the block out. ) Install new block and reverse steps above.
