I need a wiring diagram for a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The stereo was taken from the vehicle, at which point all heat and air controls were pulled out. Since vehicle is going to be used as a rock-crawler, I would like to run heat and air from switches etc.. I need a Wiring Diagram Showing which wires are for the heat and air conditioning.

most are controlled by vaccuum lines, check your lines running from your engine thru your firewall, and make sure that you have vacuum at the line where it passes thru, if you dont, you have a line off or burnt in two in the engine compartment, if you have vacuum there, check where it connects into your heater controll underneath the dash, i've had them pull loose when installing stereos or doing other things under the dash,
does the air blows only on the windshield? if so there is a sensor located inside your dash board that need to be replace. Go to MSN.Auto and type in your vehicle under used cars and check the reliabilty it will tell you this and more.
you should be able to find out what that fuse is by looking under the cover for those fuses. you should see a diagram with explanation for what each fuse is for. or look in your owners manual. or buy a chilton repair manual from a parts store. good luck.
The lower speeds are controlled by a resistor block. That's what needs to be replace. It's usually located next to the blower. It will have electrical wires connected to it. High speed bypasses the block so it alway works.
If you want to replace it then;
) Disconnect the battery negative terminalif the vehicle have air bags. Wait 2 minutes for system to discharge.
) Remove the kick block on the passenger side.
)Remve the glove box
) Remove the bolts holding the blower motor resistor. Push the red lock up and press down on the click
) Pull the block out.
) Install new block and reverse steps above.
