I shot and edited this video explaining the Honda Anti-TheftStereo Codes. It also provides tips on finding and ...
Push 1 and 6 push bouton and than radio on write the two code that will appear, tell the part guy at Honda dealer your code you find, he give you the code to unlock your radio, enter the code with pushbouton Please note code for next time you disconnect the battery
The radio dont work ,you disconnect the battery or battery came dead. The radio ask for security code on the screen when lit
If so you had to ask the dealer for the code he will charge you he had to open an invoice to Detroit Michigan. So YOU cannot have your radio stolen. If you disconnect the battery you have to put a back up battery 9 volt thru lighter will do to keep memory to the radio
Needs to be done with a scaner to reset light, most repair shop can do this, you could also try autozone, they can do this for free, do not disconnect battery or it could ask you for a radio code, and if you don't have the code, your going to have a hard time getting it.
If you the battery was disconnected then you need to get the code of the radio usually found in your car manual when you bought it. If you cant find the code. go to a Honda dealer to get the serial no# at the back of the radio and they should give you code to turn on the radio. Or do you mean how to set the stations? If thats the case just tune in the station you want and hold the number you want the station to be on for about 4 secs.
Sorry, there are virtually an infinite number of possible codes. If an audio unit with theft protection is disconnected from electrical power, you must enter a unique code number into the unit or it will not work. This code and the audio unit’s serial number are listed on the anti-theft ID card that comes with the vehicle. If this card is lost, you must obtain the audio unit serial number in order to get the radio code (some people say that they have found the code on a sticker inside the glove compartment, but I wouldn’t count on that). Some newer vehicles allow you to retrieve the audio unit serial number electronically from the radio. Refer to your owner’s manual for the specific procedure (the following usually will work: Turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release.) . Some older vehicles (model year 2003 and older) require a visit to the dealer in order to retrieve the audio unit serial number. Once you have the audio unit serial number, you can call Auto Customer Service at (800) 999-1009 or have the dealer look up the radio code. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful than to let you know how to begin the process.
either the radio code is wrong or you have locked the radio down you only have three attempts to enter the correct code if this is the case disconnect thenegative battery cable for 10 minutes then reconnect and try again. If the code is wrong the audio unit will have to be removed so you can get the serial number to give to the honda dealership so they can get the correct code
sometimes the radio has a seperate small wire that goes to the battery it probably is disconnected also check the wiring that goes from the radio to the battery you may have disconnected or accidently broken a wire
check in drivers door jam , glove box there should be a little sticker somewhere there with a 5 didgit code that will be youre code or in with youre owners stuff, once you try putting the wrong code in three times it will show error then you will need to disfconnect the - battery cable to try again, if you fcant find the code you will need to take to dealer and ask them for it they should have it if not you will need the serial number off the radio and they can get it with that
