All of a sudden my blazer started running hot, i added water and 50/50 engine coolant and the issue seemed to be solved, until the next three days went passed and i noticed that i had the same issue happen with the blazer as well as an additional issue of smoke escaping from the radiator area too.
Do a pressure test to find the leak. A vulnerable spot is the plastic overflow tank cracking underneath.
Don't add water AND 50/50. Water and 100% mixed half and half or straight 50/50.
Any chance you have been in the freezing cold areas lately ? You could have a leak due to not enough antifreeze. Radiator. Core/freeze plug.
You have a leak somewhere. Usually if it's not leaking on the ground, it's a blown head gasket. It could be a slow leak but you should be able to see it on the engine or on the ground.
Crank it up and look for the leak. Stay away from the belts and moving stuff.
First, see if the radiator fans are running properly and the water pump belt is on correctly and there's no play in the water pump pulley. Check the front of the radiator fins for clogging. Then check the operation of the thermostat. If those check out, perform a cooling system pressure test on the system and the radiator cap.

Hi
The problem is most likely 90% head gaskets but could be intake manifold gasket leaking too. Intake gasket has to be checked when intake is removed. Might find problem there if not continue and remove heads. Bars Leak will not work.
