Question about 1999 Audi A6
My alternator has gone dead on my 99 Audi A6 Quattro 2.8. I got a quote from the Audi delership and they want $1100 dollars to replace it parts & labor. I can get the alternator from a local parts store for about $200 bucks. Can someone provide me with step by step instructions on how to replace it. Some of the shops I have talked to told me that the engine needed to be lifted out about 5 inches or that the radiator needed to be removed in order to get to it. Please help... Thanks in advance.
I hear its not too bad to do it just takes some time like 3.3 hours if you ever find instructions let me know i need to do mine also! email@example.com
