Starter for a 1991 Honda Accord Station Wagon

I am having a problem. My starter went out on me on Tuesday and I am having trouble getting the old starter out to replace it. Any ideas of how to get it out. Unable to get to the bolt in the back.

I have the same issue: I can't remove the lower mounting bolt. There isn't much room to get more than a regular-size ratchet in there and that isn't enough torque to loosen the bolet. Any ideas?

You have no choice but the use the extended spanner. If I am not mistaken you need spanner number 14 ( metric )

1991 Honda Accord Starting/Ignition trouble

sounds like a bad battery or the battery cables are corroded where they hook up to the battery or loose. if it cranks for a couple seconds slow than clicks quickly there isnt enough voltage getting to the starter. not all new parts are good.
