Question about 2004 Cadillac SRX
I need a diagram on how to replace the fron turn signal bulb on a 2006 Cadillac SRX. Or detailed instructions. Replacing front turn signal bulb on 2004 Cad SRX
Wow i feel sorry for you because Cadillac designed this bulb to be a don't get to bulb but OK here's what you do take the bottom cover off or skid plastic panel under neath the front end theirs little plastic clips holding it on just get come dikes and don't cut them but just use it to help pull them out. after you get that off use a flash light and locate your light housing you should see two screws holding the house in i think those screws are 8mm i cant remember remove those two screws and be careful the metal from the bumper cuts you pull the light housing out and remove all the screws around the housing and open the housing up replace the bulb and make sure your contact to the bulbs clean and then reassemble the way you took apart. if you cant get it well then best bet is take it somewhere i know Cadillac charges an arm and a leg so you can go somewhere else.

To Start I\'ve had to replace three 0n a 2005 (twice on pas. side, once on drivers side). It\'s not especially easy but... first: remove the tire, second: remove the plastic inner fender wells (the fasteners are a 2 piece plug/screw type fastener(inner and outter plug that is pushed in the hole that holds the inner fender wells in place. you can use a narrow slotted screw driver to separate these...then pull it out of the hole...DON\'T just pull it out without separating or it will not hold in place as well. With this out of your way you will need #15 torx screwdrivers (you are gonna need two different lengths (short & long) there are six screws that hold the outter cover on, with this open THERE are your bulb sockets just twist counter-clockwise and pull ut the socket and change your bulb (another thing...if you use after market and not O.E.M there will be tabs on the side of the base of bulbs that I had to use a file on so it would fit in bulb socket). I can also tell you the drivers side is harder than passenger side. Bottom line it is a pain but it\'s cheaper than your dealership charging you three hours shop labor to replace a $4.00 bulb. Good luck and while you are doing it just keep reminding yourself "COST OF SHOP LABOR"

For a permanent repair, get the updated light sockets from the dealership.
