Question about 1996 Chrysler Cirrus
Hello i was wondering if you ever found out what the problem was......today my car just started running weitrd bucking...and not like wanting to move we put it on the ob2 reader and the po3000 code came up this is the second time we had this problem i dont know wheere to begin.........last time it happened on the highway and we put gas and it was fiine the check engine light came on for a few days but thats it pleasee hel;p!!!!!!!!!!
I had the same problem , my 96 had a bad carbon build up in the metal tube to the right of the intake manifold...what i did was took it off and soaked the tube in gas for 1/2 hour the blew it out with compressed air....while your at it you should clean that port on the intake where that metal tube was.....once all carbon chipped away, it is very important that you vacume the inside of the manifold....how you do that take the air intake off and stick your shop vac on that port where the tube was, then open your carb by hand and that should clean it right out!
