Question about 1998 Isuzu Rodeo
I have a 1998 3.2Lt quad cam V6 Rodeo, built for Australia. I recently fitted a electric oil pressure gauge. At idle hot it has 55 PSI and 2000 RPM hot it is nearly 90 PSI. When cold it is obviously much higher. Could cam shaft bearing housing blockage cause this? Any idea of what the problem could be?
I think your gauge is faulty...do a mechanical test of oil pressure somewhere in main port and use pressure gauge known good to compare against your electrical one you installed before freakin out about the high psi #'s you think you are getting........how old (mileage) is this motor?
