Question about 1990 Ford F250
I WAS GIVEN ADVICE ON A TRANS. PROBLEM . THE ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM WAS PCM UNIT. CAN ANYBODY HELP ME LOCATE THIS THING OR DESCRIBE IT TO ME??? THANKYOU!!!
Well the PCM is inside the truck behind the kick panel on the drivers side of the truck. The kick panel is what fits around the Pop Hood Lever inside the truck. To remove it first pop your hood and undo the single bolt that hold the wiring harness to the PCM. It is right on the firewall on the drivers side. After pull away the connector to make sure you have disconnected it from the PCM. Then, with the kick panel removed, there is one more bolt that is holding a bracket to the PCM, pull it and then pull the PCM from inside the truck towards you.
