Most likely the fuel pump is not running because the crash sensor, aka the fuel pump cutoff switch, has tripped. They usually have a reset button on them and are located by the in line fuel pump.

Where is the fuel line for a 93 ford probe gt? and is the fuel pump in the fuel tank. and why is my fuel cutout light on?

The fuel lines run from the fuel pump (which is in the tank) under the car to the to the fuel rail in the top of the engine. The fuel cutoff light means that the inertia switch has been triggered. It is a black box with a red button located in the hatch area.

My 1991 escort wont start. the fuel cutoff light comes on when i try, but ive already checked the switch above the right wheel well. it hasent been tripped yet the car still wont start.

If you push down on the red button on the fuel cut-off I bet you'll find it is tripped, and you just don't see it. The cut-off doesn't pop up a noticeable amount when it trips, but can still be tripped. If you find it hasn't been tripped, try disconnecting your battery for about 20 minutes to reset the computer. I've seen the cut-off trip in many escorts simply from hitting a bump on the road. Please let me know what you find.

If you're car has been running fine, then suddenly won't start, the cause is frequently that the fuel pump cutoff has been tripped. Open your trunk, and look for a label for a fuel pump cutoff switch. Locate the switch, press it in, and see if the engine will start.

Car just started dying

You may have a bad alternator causing the entire vehicle to run off of the battery and not recharging it. Simple test, have it running and momentarily disconnect the battery cable, ither positive or negitive, and if the car dies as soon as you lift the cable, it's not charging. remove your alternator, and visit a local advance auto or autozone with it, and they can test it for free. Also check your fuses and fusable links, as one of them may have been blown.
Good luck!

I have a 93 ford probe se the fuel cutoff light is on

when you are traveling about 35 or 40 mph press the brake just hard enough to make shudder let off do it again let and off. if you can control the shudder that way then its the brake if does not do it til you slow to a certian speed then the problem may be engine related. As far as the low idle there is an idle stabilizer which can definitely cause that problem. Or in some case an aged timing belt can cause similar issuses
