Is the 2018 Hyundai iLoad van's diesel engine prone to injector seal leakage that may in some cases cause turbo failures?

i dont think a fuel injector leak could cause damage to a turbo. The turbo pushes more air into the engine so it can burn more fuel with the added air. a fuel leak either inside or outside the motor shouldn't have any affect at all on the turbo. if the fuel isn't getting into the cylinder to burn then it wont create the gases from that cylinder to spin the turbo up to proper speed, but the engine would run really rough if it wasn't getting fuel in one cylinder, same as taking off a spark plug wire on a gas engine.

7.8 liter deramax engine with fuel in oil

The usual cause of fuel getting into the engine oil is because of a faulty mechanical fuel pump. The seals/gaskets wear and perish and allow fuel from the pump to find its way into the oil gallery. Overhaul or replace the mechanical pump.

Another cause is over-supply of fuel getting into the cylinder bores and finding its way down the cylinder walls and into the oil pan because of a faulty carb/injectors which 'dribble'. However, if this was the case, you would probably also experience running problems.

Look for where the fuel supply has the opportunity of penetrating a seal or gasket to get into the oil gallery (old style mechanical fuel pumps were notorious for this fault).

Why am I getting gas in oil pan

  1. Minor Amount of Gas
    • The piston rings are seals placed tightly against the cylinder walls. These piston ring seals prevent the gasoline from flowing past the pistons and down into the oil. They do not, however, provide a perfect seal; thus, a slight amount of gas will find its way into the oil as a normal occurrence. This amount should be extremely minute, and such a small amount does not change the oil enough to cause any damage. Changing your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or every three to five months ensures that it does not become a problem.
Two ways to tell if you may have a problem with gas in your engine oil are:
      1. If you start to smell a strong odor of gasoline while you are driving.
      2. You notice white smoke coming out of your tailpipe.
If a large amount of gasoline does get into the engine oil, change the oil immediately upon fixing the problem that has allowed this to happen.
    Excessive Fuel
    • When a fuel injector is stuck open, the fuel will flood out. Gasoline will definitely get into the oil when this is the case.
If the fuel pressure in your car is too high (above 7 psi) that may cause gasoline to get into the engine oil.
Gas could also leak into your intake manifold if there is a carburetor problem.
An inoperative injector system can also cause this problem, because if the engine is not firing appropriately, the gasoline will end up running down the walls of the cylinders.
Check to see if the float in the gas tank is rising the way it should be rising or if it needs an adjustment. You will not be able to look at your gas gauge and get an accurate reading If the float is not functioning properly.
Your engine may be running rich, with too much gas going into the engine and too little air.
Check to see if the oil level might be really high. This can also cause trouble.
    Check Piston Rings First
    • Any time you realize that too much gas is getting into your engine oil, you should replace the piston rings and then replace the oil. See if this helps the problem, and if it does not, then investigate the many other possibilities as to why the fuel is leaking into the oil.
Perhaps at this point do a compression test. Otherwise you can try getting your fuel injectors tested. Also check your spark plugs to see if they are good or if they might be misfiring.

56 reg passat driving down motorway suddenly loss

code p 2099 refers to post cat converter fuel trim (FT) bank 2---too rich===causes--- cat converter
also refers to engine coolant temp (ECT) sensor---circuit malfunction===causes wiring ---ECT sensor
It is possible that th engine is flooding either from problem injectors, excessive fuel pressure or the ECT is reporting incorrectly so the ECM is adding fuel as if the engine is cold starting
It is hard to decipher the rest about oil something or other so get an accredited service shop to install an mechanical oil gauge to check the pressures

I have a nosie that sound like my engine is dissel

engine valves noises, either oil too thick.engine oil and oil filter need changing if oil dirty contaminated with gas and antifreeze which will dilute make oil too thin causing low oil pressure causing lifter noise dirt get trapped in lifters orifice holes cause lifter noise.make sure engine not overheating that will cause lifters noise.if engine oil been changed and oil filter been changed either lifters worn or oil passages in the cylinder head need flushing out.i use a can of engine flush.drain out pint of old engine oil out of crankcase.pour engine can of flush in oil crank case start engine let it idle good 10- 15 minutes let the engine flush out sludge build up out the engine cylinder block.now if engine oil is too thin and diluted you need to drain out two quarts and add two good quarts.because if engine oil is too thin diluted it will cause engine bearing failure quick.after you finish the engine flush then you do your oil and oil filter change.after another 300 to 500 miles change oil filter again or get a garage flush out engine if you do it wrong you will damage engine bearings make sure engines has correct oil level. reason i say drain out pint old oil from crankcase and add can of engine flush to keep from over filling crankcase.now if your oil is too thin diluted you need to drain out 2 quarts and add 2 new quarts to keep engine oil getting too thin.engine rinso will thin out oil and flush out sludge carbon build up out of engine block oil passages.when you are done.then you need to change oil filter and engine oil change. do leave engine rinso mix with new engine oil it will thin out oil enough do engine bearing damage.make sure before doing engine flush that oil level on engine oil dip stick at full mark.

I have a 2006 GS 300 lexus that I can't get oil in it, it is not leaking where is it going? It has 130 K miles, Lexus says it need a engine. I bought it brand new and Lexus did all the services. Lexus...

There are no known issues with any LEXUS manufactured after '02 that would cause this issue by default. If you are burning oil, and its not leaking out, then one of two things is happening. 1. Its getting into your coolant system. (in this case, check your coolant system for a oil layer. TO FIX THIS you mill have to replace the block / i.e. get a new engine if you want it to last.) 2. Its getting into your valve chamber and burning with the fuel. (in this case, a gap has formed within the valve system letting in oil and can be identified by white smoke from the exhaust. TO FIX THIS you must replace head gasket and rings)

IS it necessary to change oil after DEflooding?

any contaminants in the oil could reduce it's ability to properly lubricate the engine, the cost well outweighs the risk.
