Air bag replacement in 2003 grand am

I am replacing the air bags in my car, a 2003 grand am. The car has front bumper damage. It stopped when it hit a colvert.I have replaced the front bumper, fender, and air conditioning condensor.I have the replacement airbags and module (which is under the passenger seat). Are there any other sensors I need to replace located in the front end .I am not sure how the air bags are triggered with only a module under the seat.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

That is the only sensor to trigger the bags. The new module needs to be programmed to the car by the dealer or someone with a scan tool capable of that.

Disconnect the battery form the car. Remove the airbag fuse under the bonnet. Do the bumper replacement then re-install the fuse before putting the battery back in.

The air bag light is on.Without any bumps, pot holes, super sudden stops

The light is telling you there is a problem with a sensor or other component. You need to have the body computer scanned for trouble codes to proceed.

bumper is an easy fix, but I would worry more about those airbags.
they can be quite costly to replace.

Hit a deer and airbags deployed; some front end damage to vehicle; what do I need to do to replace airbags and get them functioning again? (especially with regards to airbag sensor)

the air bags are very costlly, like around 2,000-4,000 eachwith out labor. the sensors are a few hundred also. when you replace the air bags you should replace all of the sensors. very expensive. for that kind of money you could almost get a new van. using junk yard air bags i don't suggest. to risky.

2003 VW Jetta air bag light and ABS light stays on

no it wont. in order for the air bag light to go off you must get a VW air bag resetter. they sell for about 45 bucks. it will reset the light and crash data. since your airbag light is on the airbags are locked up. once reset they will work again. anymore questions give me an email... andrewlangner@yahoo.com

330I drivers side airbag deployed and the car will not start

You triggered the impact sensor.(usually on or near the front bumper) It will need to be re-set or replaced, and obviously, you need to replace airbag.

1999 Ford Laser airbag light

I recommend you find out where the air bag sensors are there is normally one behind the front bumper or just behind the grille and there is one inside the car on the passanger side behind the glove box but someone has been backing into the front bumper of the car or someone has been hitting something in the garage when pulling it in this will eventually mess up the sensors and they will need to be replaced I recommend you get a repair manual and if this car has been in an accident found out if they recharged the air bags because this will also cause the lights to flash if the gas is low
