Question about 1997 Ford Taurus
The car was used every day then i parked it for two weeks. Tried to start to no avail. In start position there isn't even a click. voltage at battery 12v. I ran a jumper from s terminal on starter to positive on battery with key in on position. Engine cranks but no start. Any ideas?
Voltage is not really the issue here, the amperage is the thing that make things go.
you battery may have 1 or 2A, but hte bettery still reads 12v.
are you getting any gas to the engine.?
try a new battery, and give it a short bust, not a long cranks. and give enough gas in between the bust.
