-   i have the same problem except mine is a 1988 olds cutlass ciera. it has the 440-t4 transaxle and shifts fine until it gets good and warm, then nothing except 1st and 2nd gear. -   jehunt46

it sounds like the 3-4 clutches are out or the forward sprag has failed you may need a tranny rebuild
