Question about 1998 Buick Century

1 Answer

Indicator lights and display are displaying false information

The "idiot" lights are showing problems that aren't there, as well as only showing on the transmission indicator, 1st gear and the rest are not lit up at all. The temperature gauge always shows as overheating, even when it has only just been started. Oil pressure light occasionally shows low oil, when oil level is fine. Suspect computer as all fuses are fine.

You need an electrical diagnostic. It sounds like multiple problems, especially in the dashboard.
