Audio and WV have a rear fog lights that are usually behind a clear lens to either side of the license plate. They are activated by pulling on the headlight switch two notches. Pulling one notch turns on the front fog lights.
The procedure is in the owners manual, but it is not easy. You need to
turn the wheels in (to right for drivers side) and then shut car off.
Then you will need to loosen the inside front wheel well, which is
plastic, until you can bend it out of the way enough to reach inside to
the bulb. The bulb twists out with a 1/4 turn to the left and then
unplugs. Just a hint, make sure that the gasket comes out with the bulb
and that you only use one when you reinstall the new bulb. If you need to replace the fog lights, that bulb is replaced the same
The fog lights on most vehicles sit directly underneath the headlight bulbs. The ballast and wiring work just like the headlights, so changing them takes not much time. The procedure to change the fog light is as follows:--1) Open the hood and reach down underneath the headlights to unplug the electrical plug from the fog light assembly. Squeeze the top of the release tab and pull the connection off the bulb's ballast.2)Turn the fog light counterclockwise to remove it from the fog light housing.3)Install the new fog light bulb. Then connect electrical plugs properly.4) Test the fog lights by turning it ON.Thanks. you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.
The procedure for changing the front bulbs is described in the owners
manual but it is not easy. It is the same for the headlights, turn
signals, and fog lights. First, turn the wheels in (to the right for the driver's side) and then turn off the vehicle. You will then loosen the
screws on the inside plastic wheel well until you can bend it out of the
way. You can then reach inside, and the bulbs all come out with a 1/4
twist to the left. Make sure you remove the old gasket ring, and
install the new bulb with only one gasket. Screw the wheel well back
into position and you are done.
