2003 Chev Venture Van Moaning Noise

Van makes a moaning noise that gets louder with acceleration. Sounds like it is coming from the driver side. Has been getting progressively louder.

Hi from uk from your symptoms re moaning frm drivers side ? assume front?? best advice at this stage is to raise the front wheel and check for any undue wear in the wheel bearing by rocking the wheel top and bottom there should not be any tilting of wheel ? also make sure the wheel is free to rotate with no noise /roughness if so ? then you have a front wheel bearing failing however whilstyou check drivers side? also check the other wheel for same and it would be a good idea to check brake pads for wear during checks as you can do these if/when it becomes apparent the wheel bearing req's attention? all the above is subject to assuming you have checked tyres and pressures are correct ? you could pop car into local tyre depot and they could do checks on above for a quick diagnosis? hope this help check it out ASAP as this could be serious best wishes

I have a 2005 kia sorento 80,000 miles a couple of weeks ago this roaring noise comes from the rear end and seems to have got louder with the tire rotation

Check to see if the surface of the tires have even wire, because that will give off a moaning sound that you are hearing while the car is driving. The only other logic that comes to mind could be rear wheel bearings.

Squeaking/Moaning noise coming from passenger front wheel

Wow that sounds like a wheel bearing about ready to be replaced. Have a service tech check your bearings.

You need to pin down where the noise is coming from. It sounds like a pump, but cant be sure.

Moaning sound in front end

Try rotating tires. If it gets better or worse, its probably the tires.
