I will give you a hint..... center of dashboard, below radio and hvac controls, left side of passenger floorboard, THERE IS A SMALL PANEL THAT SAYS "FUSES" Another hint.... Open the Hood---there is a fusebox in front of the battery. WHERE IS YOUR OWNERS MANUAL ANYWAY?!?!?!?????

Sharon, In the downloadable manual pg.226-228 for your car the fuses for power windows are shown to be, fuse 24 in engine compartment fuse box and fuse #39 in the instrument panel fuse box location. Check the attached link, manual, instruction and guide, Good luck

Check your manual for fascia fuse box locations
Three fuse boxes are located
In one sunroof fuse number 30/20amp
In box three, elec windows circuit breaker fuses,
number 3/30amp front windows
number 4/30amp rear windows
If you are referring to your rear window defroster not working when you press the button, you either have a blown fuse or are missing the fuse entirely.
Check your manual (sec 6 I believe): The fuse panel for your problem is located behind the glove box. You need to remove the front case but just pulling the handle to expose the fuses. The fuse is the same fuse that controls your heated seating, your hvac, rear defroster, and automatic lights. Let me know if this is the problem you where having and if this helps.. I just fixed this on my 97 Grand Prix SE 3 days ago!!!
Check the fuse...it will be the fuse located inside the vehicle.
Your vehicle likely has several fuse box locations. There may be one or two underhood electrical centers with fuses and relays. There could also be an underdash fuse box. Some models have removable end caps on the instrument panel harboring a fuse box.
The distribution box next to the battery is where you will find the fuses and relays for most of your electrical devices. There is a map of what the fuses are, printed on the underside of the box cover.
