Question about 1995 Toyota 4Runner
I have a 2002 Grand Am Pontiac. We replaced the battery and had a problem with the security reset. Had to leave the ignition on for 15 minutes then it started. Yesterday the car would not start. Checked the battery, starter all OK left the ignition on for 15 min. still would not start. Had it towed to the mechanic and it started at the mechanics business. While I tried to start it at home I noticed the security light was on and would not go off How can I disarm the security. My wife is scared to drive for fear of getting stranded. Thanks
Hello: I have had the same problem from time to time the security light would come on and would not start we had it towed to the garage and some how they got it started someone told me how to reset the security light turn the car on to ACC on the ignition and pull the emergency brake on leave on for 10-15 minutes that should reset it if that don't work I tried my best to help try and good luck.
