Question about 1994 Toyota 4Runner
My wife has a Toyota Tazz XE 2005 model. The imobilizer actevates the alarm as well as locks or opens the doors. Recently the doors stoped locking and unlocking but the alarm can still be activated and deactivated using the imobilizer button. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Firstly establish if your c/locking is factory fitted or after market. If factory fitted check the fuse box for any blown fuses. If after market then their is a fused +12v line running to a normally black unit which controls the C/Locking, check that. If no luck with that take it to a fitment center who can diagnose that within 5 minutes
