Go with a Centerforce 1 clutch kit. Check their website It's worth every penny!

It's a chunk of change but so is having to replace the clutch every 40,000 miles or less.

Does any one know what compression should read on 2 ltr diesal passat engine code cba in psi please

VW diesel engines have a spec of 360-450 psi with new engines. It is only considered a bad engine if the reading is below 276 or there is a difference of more than 73 psi between cylinders.

How much does it cost to replace a clutch on 1987 nissan pulsar

clutches cost $700.0 plus original, around $500 after market ( (original equipment in a different box) and the labour costs depend on if the flywheel needs surfacing Time will be around 6 hours at local labour time rate.
Are you sure it is the clutch as problematic master cylinders will make a clutch slip

Model? engine? gas ? diesel? fuse "J" under the hood............. you really need to be specific, as different models have different wiring.

So, i have a Tracker that has been changed, by the previous owner, from factory auto trans to a 5 speed. It has an issue with the engine (bogs) and the gauges (go haywire), when you run/ shift into gear....

Hi, the wiring is certainly different as the automatic has shift and TCC solenoids that the manual does not have. The safety interlock is also different--on the clutch pedal for manual versus the trans range sensor on the auto. Also, the backup light switch is separate on the manual versus integrated to the range switch on the auto. The speed sensor may be different or the same, I'm not sure. Now, the real difference in the drivability is that the auto trans is controlled by the PCM, and the data is fed back to the PCM for proper engine operation. If the previous owner didn't change the computer, then the algorithms in the computer are not optimized for a maunal transmission. I'm not sure that is the reason for your problems. Can you find out if the PCM in the car is the original versus a replacement for a manual transmission?

When pushing down the pedal, the gears and pto is grinding more and more as time goes by. I adjusted the clutch pedal , but no help. Can this problem be fixed by a shade tree mechanic or do I need to take...

I am not a diesel mechanic, a tractor mechanic, or a shade tree mechanic. But, it sounds to me like it is time for a new clutch pack. Anyone with reasonable knowledge of simple mechanics can do this job at a much cheaper price than a professional diesel or tractor mechanic, but it can be a heavy duty job. I would weigh the differences in downtime of my equipment and the ability of my shade tree mechanic.

Clutch assy repair ,car has 210 mm disc -stores have 22o mm disc

Check with a reputable Honda dealer. A 10mm difference might not be that inconvenient. These after-market parts do meet or exceed the OEM (original equipment manufactured)
