Question about 2001 Pontiac Bonneville
The left turn signal works perfectly. When the hazards are turned on, only the left side works (nothing on the right side, front, back or dash indicator). When I try to signal right I hear a faint clicking sound (same as it would if working, just slightly quieter) coming from the location of the hazard button. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated.
Most likely cause is one of three items. Your car uses "dual filament" bulbs in the front. Often, one filament will break and "bridge" over to the other [parking lamp] filament. In this case, replace the bad bulb. Second is that Pontiac had problems with the rear tail lamp assemblies. Water ingress into a bad rear lamp could cause this. Third is a bad ground wire to one of the affected lamps.
