Question about 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit
I am trying to swap out the air filter in my 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit, but can't find where it is located. The manal does not give me a diagram of the engine. Can someone please tell me where it is located?
The actual engine cover is the air box also.. you have to pull the whole cover.. the flip it upside down and you will see 4 screws.. losen the screws. and you will see the filter.. replace the filter, put the screws back in and put the cover back on the engine. the engine cover just pops out and pops back in. it might be a little hard to pull it the first time but dont worry. you wont damage anything

Look for a round plastic tubing leading from the motor. will be a large diameter. the end away from the motor should have a large black plastic box closed by either screws or clips.... remove those clips and you will find the filter.
