Question about 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited
I was working on my jeep last saturday and I installed a cd player radio and proceeded to check all of my tailights. When I hit the brakes both lights come on but one dims out. My running lights dont work neither does my turn signals. My head lights and my hazards work. My dash lights went out as well. I started to smell something burning that I thought was the radio and it turns out a 30 amp fuse was stuck in a 15 amp spot and was melted. Now everytime I try to put a 15 amp fuse back it pops immediately trying to turn on my head lights. Can you please help me with this problem. I would really like to get my jeep on the road. Could it be possible to have a short in my brake light harnesses because they are kind of beat up? Anything helps and thanks
Find out what fuse controls. look under dash for burnt wires. let me know what you find.
