Question about Chevrolet Cobalt
The unlock code varies from vehicle to vehicle and model to model, please check the owner's manual under radio and follow the instructions in the process you still have to knw the code for your radio which is usualy a sticker behind the radio unit itself un fortunately you have to remove the radio in order to read the code to instal it back into your radio

I heard that if you have the serial number of the car, that you can get the radio code to get it to work. Also, if the reason for having the code is so thieves that steal the radio cannot use the radio unless they have the code. If all they have to do is take out the radio and look at the sticker, they will have the code. What kind of protection is that.
