Question about 2000 Nissan Altima
Nissan altima ( 20020. I had stalling and stopping problems. checked codes and had crank position sensor faults. replaced the sensor and had dealer do the recall to the ECM. Still having crank position faults and speed sensor faults. After the car is hot it won't start. replaced the cam sensor, just to make sure. Same problem. Can i have a bad sensor. Is there something on the crank I need to clean or before installing the new sensor and how in the world would you do that?
SOURCE: throttle position sensor
did your car have (ETS) electronic throttle control system
the TPSis a part of this system
but you can test it by using diagnoses scan tool to check the TPS value when press or depress the accelerator pad.
so you can tell us the NO. of DTC for example(P0122)
ASK FOR MORE INFORMATION

No recall information on that situation at this time. if you suspect this, you can contact the dealer and provide your vin and they can look up a new or non released recall for your vehicle. If this recall has just been released, it will take some time to circulate though the recall system. at this time, nothing is showing up on our systems on a recall for the crank and cam sensors.

call the dealership immediately and notify them of the problem they will fix it but make sure you talk to who ever answers the phone and then they will transfer you to the right department such as sevice department or recall dept. and make sure when you bring the car in bring your title.
