Question about 1998 Chevrolet Blazer
My truck just quit running in the middle of traffic. Has gas in it, after sitting, it started several times, then while in idle, died, and won't restart. I thought it was the fuel pump, but there is no spark when trying to start. could the lack of the power keep the fuel pump from running? how can I tell if the relay sensor is good? What other options could it be?
I have a 98 bravada where I was not getting no spark and no fuel, after replacing few parts it came down to the ECM fuse was blown. After replacing the fuse it ran for 20 seconds and stopped again. It blew fuse again. Put 30 amp fuse and it continues to run. Problem now is the heating and cooling is off. Been told could be a short in cable or something in ECM is shorting. Was told by parts guy at Checkers that if putting higher amp fuse in blows as well there is definite problem with ECM. As of now have not had ECM checked.

Check for dead battery. Test wipers, radio, headlights and heater fan.
If all work normally, battery is probably charged and you may have bad
starter or alternator ....
