I have a 97 328is so I'm betting it's in the same location. On mine it looks very similar to the Oil Filter Housing but it's farther back, lower and to towards the driver side. The only reason I found it was because I wasn't sure which one was the oil filer and the power stearing fluid housing was much easier to open so that was the first one I looked in.

If you can't find a power steering fluid reservoir under the hood in the engine compartment your G6 could have Electronic Power Steering . If you look up under the dash below the steering column you will see a electric motor mounted to the steering column !
The power steering system reduces the amount of effort needed to steer the vehicle. The system uses the powertrain control module (PCM), body control module (BCM), power steering control module (PSCM), discrete battery voltage supply circuit, steering shaft torque sensor, steering wheel position sensor, power steering motor, driver information center (DIC), and the serial data circuit to perform the system functions. The PSCM and the power steering motor are serviced as an assembly and are serviced separately from the steering column assembly. The steering shaft torque sensor and the steering wheel position sensor are not serviced separately from each other or from the steering column assembly. The steering column assembly does not include the power steering motor and module assembly.
Buy the fluid at Autozone and ask them to add for you. Usually they will and show you where the fill port is. Power steering fluid should be replaced every 75K miles. Usually you can buy an inexpensive turkey baster and use it to remove old power steering fluid from the reservoir and replace it, (always use synthetic transmission fluid vs non synthetic) I find using about an ounce or two of Z-max transmission treatment added to the fluid extends pump life.
There is a reservoir under the hood that stores power steering fluid. That is where you add the fluid. Most likely, yours will be located directly behind a drive belt pulley, attached directly to the power steering pump, and the cap should be marked for power stering fluid. It will contain a dipstick that has marks stating minimum and maximum fluid levels with the fluid either hot or cold. If you have to add to it often, you have a leak that needs to be repaired.
to bleed power steering, with front wheels off ground slightly with front wheels pointing straight ahead.engine off. remove power steering filler cap.add power steering until fluid level stop dropping,wait couple minutes and wait, add fluid until level stay at full cold mark on power steering cap dip stick. dont over fill.when fluid level stop dropping, start vechicle,let it idle few minutes. see if fluid level drop if so add more fluid full cold mark.then turn steering all the way to left and right with out hitting a stop.turn steering wheel several times, then turn front wheels pointing forward check power steering fluid level.if power steering fluid level stop dropping air should be out of system, if steering turning wheel dont turn smoothly and power steering fluid look light tan color air getting in the system.check all power steering lines to rack and power steering pump for leaks.be sure you replaced all the power steering lines with new o rings if not you will get a leak.if you find a leak, you need to fix the leak and bleed system again.dont drive vechicle if your steering dont feel right,have vechicle towed to a garage.

If you have a noise when you are turning your steering wheel, you may have low power steering fluid. Add power steering fluid into your power steering fluid reservoir to the level required (check with your manual book). Make sure you get the right power steering fluid for Audi A4. Hope it will help

The power steering pump is in the front of the engine. You will see the serpentine belt on the pulley and it will look something like htis picture. The pump has a resevoir with a cap on top which is removable and has a dipstick built in to tell you how low you are on fluid.
