Question about 2003 Acura RSX
Last night while I was driving all of a sudden the breaks harden up and was very sensative and RPM was stuck, and only time it would go down is when I took my foot of the gas.The car kept stalling, I noticed the coolant was boiling and a little smoke was coming out of the rad cap..I have no idea where to start fixing this problem: could it be the fans dont work? or relay harness for the fan/head doesnt work? or fuse for fan/head is blown?...If you can please give me some suggestions I would greatly appreciate Fixya.
Okay first, if you want a copy of the factory service manual (pdf), CLICK HERE
now it sounds like your head gasket. pull your oil dipstick and check for signs of coolant in the oil. if possible do a compression test on the motor, its the best way to check for a blown head gasket.
