Question about 2002 Ford Taurus

2002 ford taurus stereo stolen

Someone stole my stereo and when they did they just kind of ripped it out. It was an aftermarket one so I had an aftermarket console also. Since then my windsheild wipers don't work , power locks, windows, my speedometer doesn't work it just kind of bounces around I checked fuses and all seem to be ok.

This may not help as I don't know what color it is, but along with your Power - Accessory wires theres a couple more wires that needs to be hooked to power for the above accessories to work, so I suggest if you havent done so already to hook those wires up and endcap them. You can check which ones are power wires by using a voltometer on them. I had your similar problem and my soultion fixed it.

I have a 2002 Lincoln ls i brought a aftermarket in-dash stereo. I wired it properly but it wont turn, I've checked the radio fuses on the passenger side and none of them are blown, so i thought the stereo...

You can not do what your doing on todays
high tech vehicles.
The computer knows what radio was installed at the factory,
so if it stolen ,it can not be used, nor can you
install an aftermarket ,without a lot of system knowledge.
A Car Audio Store may have done a conversion,
but on an LS,I wouldn't bet on it.

Wiring cut when my stereo was stolen now nothing works.

Could have crossed wires and blown the fuses. try isolating and electrical taping the wires and then go through your fuses and replace the blown ones.
