Question about 1999 GMC Sonoma
Older model pick-up; GMC Sonoma; the doors don't sit square and won't stay shut. is there some kind of kit i can get to fix this myself?
You probably need new door hinges. Open the door, lift up on the door while watching the hinges, you should not see any movement at the hinge location. If there is play there, replace the hinges. To remove door hinges, place a floor jack under the door for support while u remove hinges. There should be some adjustment at the hinges, and door latch to fine tune the fit and how it closes. Good luck, let me know how u make out.
