Hyundai Accent air conditioner blower noise

There is noise coming from the blower of the air conditioner. Noise comes irrespective of if the air conditioner is ON or OFF.
The noise is proportional to the speed/RPM.
Can I receive a manual as to how the blower can be opened to look for any objects obstructing the blower.

Can you explain how I can identify the fan housing. There are several black boxes under the glove box. Does it snap off or screw off? Once I get that off is there another part I have to screw off to get to the fan housing?
    Thanks for your help

Hello kandrika_mur

I might have a solution for you issue. First I would like to give you a few explanations.

1. If you live in an area with squirrels or chipmunks they could be the reason for the noise. If you hear a loud humming noise there is a simple fix. Just open the fan housing under the clove box and unscrew the housing and remove the acorns, Sticks, leaves or anything else that is stuck in the fan or its housing. These animals are notorious for hiding things in vehicles especially in the beginning of the colder season. I have to do this in October every year.

2. The bearings in the fan motor may need grease or even replacing. If bearings are burnt out they can also make noise.

I hope this helps.

How to kno if I need blend door? No heat or cool. If I turn on fan I hear a squeal under the hood.

When you turn on fan,is air coming out of vents normal but not getting hot or cold.If no air is coming out, then blend door is shut, causing air to back up and maybe cause that noise, here are 2 links on how to replace blend door and blower motor, join the,at top right hand corner of page,it's so free, then you can use their repairs like me.I just had my evaporator replaced,it was clogged up,a mouse made a home in the box that holds it,air is suppose to go thru it,but it backed up and made a noise, had midas repair, cause freon had to be removed to replace part,it's located next to blower, your blend door flap is probably broken, just stays closed.
