Location of the pcv valve on a1993 ford mustang LX 2.3 litre engine

so the pcv valve is on the driver's side of the engine master cylinder this is the back firewall. and if you look real close you can see it it's that little blue piece of plastic. that is the actual pcv valve so from the front of the engine you want to bring your arm.

The PCV valve is located under the intake manifold on the non-hybrid 2.5L engine. The intake manifold MUST be removed in order to service the PCV valve.
The PCV valve sits in the crankcase vent oil separator.

passenger side valve cover underneath the intake tube. test by replacing with a new one and seeing if problem is fixed.

it is located under the hood in the middle upper engine area,on the top, mounted in the valve cover.

You didn't mention what engine you have. If it is the 1.8 litre DOHC engine, it is in the valve cover. Here is the location on the 1.9 liter SOHC engine.
Replacing it is just a matter of popping the old one out and the new one in.

So, when looking at the engine from above, on the right of the exhaust.
Procedure to replace it
1) Lift and support the front end of your car, or drive up on ramps
2) Get under the front of your car. The PCV Valve is located behind the exhaust manifold, a few inches below the valve cover.
3) Push up on the PCV valve to pop it out of the tube, or pull. You can get it out of the rubber tube with some effort.
4) Remove the rubber elbow from the top of the PCV valve. This can be re-used if it's not squishy. It can also be replaced cheaply.
5) Put the elbow on the new PCV Valve
6) Re-attach the elbow to the PCV tube
7) Push the new PCV valve back down into the large rubber tube

It is located under the alternator and above the water pump, as you face the engine from the passenger side fender it is to the left of the water pump bypass hose.

Look just to the right and below your exhaust manifold. There is a tube that plugs into the top of it so it is a little hidden. Good luck.

It would be on eather the back or front valve cover.

it is normally located on the valve cover itself look for the black tube going into the top of the valve cover gasket
