Question about 1992 Ford LTD
Make sure you motor is on top dead centre before putting dizzy back in other wise you will be 180 deg out and will back fire flat out

If you have made sure that the timing marks were set right on harmonic balancer before removing distributor then point the rotor toward the terminal/H/T lead that leads to no.1 plug.There should be a mark on the distributor that indicates no.1 position.Its just a line in the distributor where the cap sits on the distributor.
