Re: cd player keeps rejecting cd & show an peo-e error on...
PEO normally means Player Error Optical which means that for some reason the cd player is not reading the cd correctly. This can happen if the disk is dirty or has a lot of scratches. If the disk is clean and in good condition more than likely the cd player will need to be replaced.

Not sure here but try this ,insert a empty cartridge and then turn radio on ,then press reject cartridge and see if one cd magically appears in the cartridge .This normally shows as error 1 and its caused by the battery being disconnected with the cartridge in the player
Take the radio out and you will find a serial number on it and call the dealer and they will give you a code to activate it, your manual will tell ya how to relearn the radio with the new code.
This happens every time the battery goes dead.
P.E.O meens program ,error 0 which basic meens your laser is not working time to replace your radio or have it repaired if you are not into a lot of cables and cutting them to install an after market radio go Crutchfield they have the wireing harness so the job is a breeze
We had the same problem. As advised from another website, we unhooked the battery and hooked the cables together for about 10 minutes. This reset the radio and allowed us to put in the 5-digit code. Now we're jammin'!
