Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
Changed the front pads put light is still on
I had the same problem and check the brake fluid level - ok
Replaced the rear pads - some wear
Still the light stayed on
Try putting an electrical metre on the Sensor itself
That's what mine was.

Initially, pls try checking the level of brake fluid in the reservoir above the master brake cylinder.
