Question about 1994 Hyundai Excel
I went to check the oil / general engine checks of my Hyundai Excel. But the bonnet did not pop after i pulled the lever under the dashboard, have fiddled with the cable to try and open it but no luck. Cant simply pull lever under bonnet under the hood either Have you any suggestions as to getting the bonnet open ??
Difficult one but not surmountable, need right tools to remove grille and find a way into bottom of catch ,suggest you call your local mobile mechanic as this sort of thing is hands on and without car in front of me its difficult to advise as iam a general mechanic with a bad case of old timers.but most likely cause is the outer cable has pulled through the end fastening but what end ?? as i wrote its a hands on job.
