Question about 2002 Isuzu Axiom
Our '02 Axiom has the electronic suspension of Sport Mode or Highway mode. One mode is bouncy and the other is stiff, either way, it makes for a stiff neck after a while. Does anyone know if there is a aftermarket shock that can replace the OEM electronic version with a more comfortable ride? I also have a '99 Trooper and the ride is a dream! Don't know why they made it so different! Can I use non-electronic shocks on this vehicle, say a Trooper shock?
check engine light indicates that the computer in your vehicle has sensed a electrical problem pretaining to the performance of the engine usualy a diagnostic scan would determine the actual cause, vehicle has to be hooked up to a diagnostic tools.

SOURCE: suspension bouncy
i am not familiar with the mercedes suspension but your problem is caused by bad shocks .. not sure if they are seperate from the hydraulic system .. if they are then thats what you need .. if the shocks are part of the hydraulic system (that would be some neat engineering) .. then there is likely a valve that acts like a shock absorber in that system .. it sounds like the suspension system is working good .. its just the shock absorber system that is causing the trouble ..
