Question about 1993 Toyota Celica
I am just wondering where the thermostat is located on my car. i was told i need to change it so i bought it but i do not know where it is located. if you could help it would be greatly appreciated.
There is another thermostat in the car, the one that controls the air conditioning.
i am presuming you are talking about the engine thermostat right? so here it is .
trace the hose that came from the top portion of your radiator. at the end of the hose is an aluminum manifold where the temperature sending units are located. if you remove this manifold, you can see your thermostat laying on top. it is supposed to control the flow of water from the engine to your radiator. replace it and in putting it back, i suggest you have a sealant ready for the right function. a water resistant and temperature resistant sealant that could be use in water manifolds in the engine.
good luck and tnx 4 using fixya,
