Question about 2004 Ford Explorer
With the door open everything operates properly any ideas
Most lilely the wire is broken to the lock motor inside the wire insulation, this is where the door wires go through the rubber tube into the body of the car. This wire moves and breaks connection when the door is closed, this is very common on all cars with power windows and locks no matter who makes them.
