The car has been parked for a while. It is hard to start and once it does, it does not want to take gas. The exhaust manifold gets red hot. Catalytic converter has been replaced
If you've checked your coolant and the gas is good it is likely the timing is off drastically and it needs fixed. I don't remember if that car has a chain or belt. I know most manufacturers change intervals on timing belts run from 60-90 thousand miles.Good luck those are nice cars when they are running well.

A full tune up consists of spark plugs, distributer cap. wires. rotor for under the cap, air filter and if you want you should change the fuel and oil filter. I hope this helps.
