Ou should have a separate fuse box under dash just left of stearing colum. It has fuses and circuit breakers in it

Have you check your fuses? That'll be the first place I'd look, your owner's manual should tell you which fuse it is.

Most likely cause is that the element under the seat cover has burned out.

2001 Chevy Tahoe, Heated seat back works but not seat bottom.


Open drivers side door and look at the end of your dash board that is faceing the door.You will see a little triangle shaped door that pops out.There are also more under the hood,drivers side in a big square box.Behind the batterie.

Take down the Vin # and call the local dealer - - ask about recalls and Service bulletins.

While on the phone - ask where the fuse is - they will tell you - and hope you buy a new one from them someday - ask for the parts department - -

Check the wiring harness beneath the seat, the fuse and the switch.

Hooked up trailer lights to 2005 chevy tahoe. The only only thing that works now are the electric seats and cigerate lighter.


look for the fusible link box under the hood near the battery. There is a good chance that something shorted one out they look like a giant fuse.
