Question about 1995 Chrysler New Yorker

1 Answer

Signal Lights and hazard lights don't work.

The signal lights worked on the way out but not returning home. I have checked the fuses and they are OK for both the signal lights and the hazard lights. Does this car still have a flasher unit and if so where is it?

Thanks for your help.

I was doubtful that this was going to work but it did. Thanks.

Try lower or under the dash on drivers side, in with fuses.

I have a 2004 F150 and just replaced the motor. Now my turn signals/hazard lights don't work. Headlights high and low and all running lights work. I checked the fuses under the dash and all look ok.

Did you use a test light to check voltage on fuse circuit? The hazard flasher fuse should be hot all the time. The turn signal fuse usually goes hot with the key on.

The hazardous lights will not turn on

I would check the flasher for the emergency signals.

Turn signal not working

Press the Hazard switch on and check the turn indicator lamps. Replace the faulty lamps.
If the hazard lights do not work then the trafficator flash can is faulty provided the trafficator fuse is OK.
Check the fuse for the turn indicators, if it is blown the replace the fuse.

Turn signal does not work

Hi there,

I'm assuming neither of your turn signals work?

Firstly, check the 15A Turn fuse in the fuse box. If fuse is ok, then operate your HAZARD light function.

If no Hazard lights operate, then suspect a probelm with the Turn Signal Flasher unit.

If Turn signal flasher tests ok, then fault lies within the Turn switch.

No brake lights, turn signals, or 4-ways.

Did you actually check the bulbs? I believe your brake lights, signal lights, hazards all use the same bulb for each side.

Your brake lights may be your brake switch just above your brake pedal.
The signals could be your electronic flasher module (EFM) located under the dash near the steering column.
Your hazards may be affected by the EFM, but not likely and the switch for your hazards may be faulty
