Dont really understand the question but from what I can see the GEM is involved. On this model it usually has to do with a windshield water leak allowing water to intrude into the GEM. Push up on the upper left hand side of the windshield and se if it moves. If it does the glass must be replaced to properly repair the leak. Then and only then do you replace the GEM and possibly the fuse box due to water damage.

Central Junction Box / cab fuse panel Fuse 15 ( 5A ) feeds the GEM Module

A leaking windshield ( lower left hand corner ) can cause water to get on the back of the CJB, and corrode the pins to the GEM.

If the GEM is bad it will need to be replaced and programmed at the dealer. There is no way to bypass it to make the 4X4 work. You can try salvage yards, or

No interior lighting

All of these systems are controlled by the Generic Electronic Module, GEM for short, most likely it has failed, Ford can test it and determine what the problem is with it.
