Question about 2000 Honda Civic
When I figured that my car's headlights are too dim for the roads, i changed to a HID-Style Halogen, sometimes fitting the bulb in was such a pain, because the metal hook doesn't always go back to its place with ease, but after struggling will still work out.
However, after upgrading to HID a HID kit, I couldn't fit the metal hook back to its original lock at all anymore~ so in the end, i just had to ignore that and seal the rubber back on and pretend its hooked
but what if it falls? How can I get it hooked? (the bulbs are installed correctly in its positions)
You could try removing the metal retainer(long metal balde) in an old wiper blade and forming it into shape to hold the bulb...I've done one honda HID retainer with it and it works...You need to have a good pair of pliers and a side cutter to cut the metal as it is very hard and like a spirng.
