Question about 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser
After i left the roof lamp oN for a day my battery won't start, so recharged it and started the engine and i never used it for two days. when i jumped to the car to use it i noticed that my stereo was running, and no one left it that way. and when i try to turn on the engine it won't start. so i took off the stereo and again i recharged the battery and tried it again with headlamps anf roof lamps running. i switched off the engine and leave the lights on for 5 minutes and tried to switched the engine again, but to my dismay the engine wo'nt start at all and the battery meter went down. What would I do? Please help me guys . . .
Offhand, the battery would be suspect. Either it will no longer hold a charge or accept it.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

The battery could have been still weak. it was not charge much with a few minutes of engine running .
try to charge the battery for a bout 4 hours and monitor its voltage while chrging it. you may overcharge it and may increase the problem. check also if you can, the amount of acid in each cell and add if necessary. be careful handling battery acid, they are dangerous.
after charging it for 4 hours, depending on the capacity of the charger( please see instruction on how to use the charger) you may increase or decrease the time.
if you knwo that the battery is fully charged, then start your engine, idle it for 10 mins, turn it off.
after 5 mins, start it back, if it starts back, then everything would be fine.
if it does not start back, then you have a bad battery.
if after a day you tried to start the car and it would not start, you may have a power drain in your car. a small load that drains the battery for a long period of time.
