Question about 2002 Kia Sedona
I have a 2002 Kia Sedona that I purchased new, six years ago. I had problems over the past three years that the emergency break will not hold. Recently, I took the vehicle to Firestone. They worked on it for three days, installing new rear drums, break pads, and finally a new emergency cable. The problem still exists. They finally gave up, and refunded me the $350.00 that they had charged me. They could not figure out what the problem is. I'm hesitant to take it to the local dealer, Bert Ogden Motors, because I cannot trust them.
When you press the emergency break pedal, it makes a rubbing sound of some sort.
Have you received any other requests like this?
Did you check the bracket for holding the brake paddle bar? May be there is some crack on the bracket.
